What is the name of your state?Arkansas
I have a friend who I have helped out greatly. I Paid the sales tax on a car forhim, purchased some audio equiptment online, and have lent him money. Well recently he won't make contact with me, and I finally was able to reach him and I ask for the money and the audio equiptment. He told me that is was his, but admitted that I paid for it and will not return it. I told him that he did not have to repay the money if he would just return that audio equiptment. What should I do in order to get it back? I have credit card receipts showing that I paid for the Audio equiptment.

Without any contracts or even a written note, you have a long road in trying to convince a judge that the purchases were loans and not gifts. It will only cost you a court filing fee and a few days at the court house to find out.
