What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Florida

We are being sued by a bank in civil/small claims. They are currently trying to get a summary judgement. We need to file an affadavit and would like to know how far in advance this needs to be done. Can we file it close to the deadline (2-3 days prior) or does it have to be done 2-3 weeks in advance. Secondly, when answering the affadavit, do we need to supply quite a bit of detail at this time or should we be short and to the point---saving some ammunition for later? Thank you for any suggestions and/or help.

By the way, does anyone know of a self-help legal website for the state of Florida? Thanks.

Obviously, it's always better to file stuff way before it's needed.
