What is the name of your state? ks
please help.
my husband & i were living with some inlaws and while we were there we lent out our washer & dryer to my sister in law and her boyfriend.
well long story short. my sister in law ended up going to jail for awhile & while she was away her boyfriend sold our wahser & dryer and then skipped town.
we have the address of the people who bought the waher/ dryer but just dont know what to do or what we can do.
we also have the b.f. address he is in arizona.
we would like to avoid going to court and all that. just b/c we dont think we would ever see any money from him.
we do still have the original purchase reciept with the serial # on it (if that makes a difference)

the unit i'm talking about cost about $1,000.00 they were bought brand new but that was about 4 years ago. i don't want to go to court b/c both sister in law and the boyfriend are now living in az. i doubt either would show and i know that i would never see the $$ from them. the b.f. just now paid his fees from accidents there in az from like 5 years ago. so even if the found in my favor i know he would not give the $$ plus he's in az. i have no way of getting there. my sister in law said for us to just go to the the guys house. he is some friend of theirs, but i m just not sure. i realy doubt he has any type of reciept or proof he bought it. ...anyone any ideas, suggestions, comments, anything??????? still unsure of what to do. please help!!

You Are Guilty

If you don't want to sue, you have two options:

1- Buy a new washer & dryer; or
2- Write a letter requesting one including the reasons why (with copies of your proof of purchase of the originals) here:

Washer Replacement Request
P.O. Box 56799
North Pole, Alaska 99705-179
Attn: Santa

However, option 2 is only available if you've been "good" this year, so keep option 1 open just in case.
