What is the name of your state? CA
A company is holding payment for work already done until I show proof of liability insurace. Can they do this and if not can I sue for damages?:rolleyes:

1) Who is holding the funds?
2) Why are they holding the funds?
3) What are the funds for??
4) What 'work' was done?
5) If a contract is involved, what are the terms of the contract as to proof of insurance??
