What is the name of your state? Ohio
We are filing this week to recoup money which was loaned to someone. We feel we have a good case, but from what I am reading, winning is easy, collecting is next to impossible.
The defendent is self employed (they have a wholesale business) but I am not sure if she is listed as an "employee", although she has said numerous times she get paid by her husband.
They rent their home and have two vehicles.
If we win the judgement, how can we enforce the ruling and get our money back? I don't know if we can do wage garnishment because she might say she doesn't "work"..he probably pays her in cash.
What can we use the lien for?
Ok, now I'm really depressed...any good news to cheer me up?
