jiffy lube damaged my car help

had coolant changed in radiator a week later car over heated. long story short jiffy lube agreed to pay in full for damages, when sevice on car was started jiffy lube said they would pay only half. i told them i will take it to court. 2 days later car was back in the shop with problems resulting from jiffy lubes screw up. what steps can i take to avoid court? should i hire an attorney.
