What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I had an apartment lease agreement with a corporation. When I left the apartment the corporation did not return my deposit. I sued the company and got a judgment. I later found out that the corporation had no assets and that the corporation's checks had been deposited into the owner's personal account. Can I sue the owner for the same cause and "pierce the corporate veil?" Is there a problem with already having a judgment against the corporation?
