My roommate broke the screen on my laptoop and it costs $650.00 to replace. He has amitied that he is at fault and I keep asking him in writting for a way to pay me to fix the computer he wont give me one. So I made him an offer that I would pay for it but he would have to sign a noterized letter stating that he would pay me every month with the criedt card intrest until he paid me back he gace me no response on this offer. Now I want to take him to small claims court for my money but he claims to have no way of giving me my money so would he be court ordered to pay me back for the cost of repairs and do I need to have the item fixed before I file? Can I include the the filling fee which is $155? Is there a way to make him pay me back with the intrest that would be occured if I have to pay to fix the laptop on my own
