What is the name of your state? CA

I've never filed for small claim before. Any advice/ideas are appreciated.
I hired company A= property management. Company A is incorporated/affilated with company B which is real estate broker.
A owes me some money and about to file for bankruptcy(not sure which type BK). B is still OK or good as far as I know. There's a contract agreement between A and me.

My question would be:
If I take both A and B to small claim at the same time, and A is done with bankruptcy and the court discharged my debt, does anyone know if I still be able to collect from B if I win even if my debt was already discharged?

Thanks
