What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
My dry cleaners lost my clothes and wants me to buy more clothes then reinburse me? I think they should give me the money. What are my legal rights as a consumer.

From a practical standpoint, you would get more value from being reimbursed for new clothes than from getting the cash value of used clothes.

But you can always make a demand for the cash value of your used clothes and take them to small claims court if they decline to pay.
