What is the name of your state? IL

My mother loaned my ex sister in law 5,000 in order to prevent her from getting her car repossesed. She paid back approximately $400 of it at the time. The car did end up still getting repossessed and my mom still never got the money. She was still with my brother at the time of the loan, now is not.

What can she do?

I can provide further information if necessary. Thanks.

1) When (date) was the loan made?
2) When (date) was the last payment made?
3) What, if anything, does she have to show that she gave the money to your ex-sis-law?
