What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
a couple had a party to show friends a house they have bought.
During the party the hardwood floor in the living room was minorly damaged by ladies high hills. Some dentures in the floor around the seating area precisly.
Now this couple, wants to hire a lawyer for the damage of the floor in case the person wearing high hills won't pay.
What is reasonable? replacement of the floor? repair of the floor? going further to a lawyer?

People wear heels to a party. A floor is made to be walked on...yes, even by people with heels on. It seems to me that the hardwood floors were defective.
