i loaned my son $3000.00 and he refuses to pay me back, this is not the first time i had to just write it off and now i want to teach him a lesson. it was all verbal but there are several people who were present when the agreement was made. i do need the money, but it is mainly about the principle. do i have a chance to win?

You really need to fill in the important details .

What was the loan used for ?
How did this "loan" come about ?
What was the "verbal" terms to pay it back ?
What will the whitenesses testify to ?

And why on earth would you keep letting him milk you ?
How old is he ?

"do i have a chance to win?"
*** Yes, you have a chance. How good a chance depends on what evidence you can show the court that he received the money and there was an agreement to repay you.
