NC - I moved out of a mobile home and left some trash on the side of the road. Well, my old landlord decided to take everything away. I had thrown away some documents from my work, which should have been shredded, but accidentally was put in the trashcan. She went through the trashcan and took out these documents. She now says to me that if I don't do what she wants she will go to my employer with these documents because he would not be happy about this.
Is this legal?
