What is the name of your state? New York, Long Island/Nassau County

I won a small claims court judgement and the other party decided to appeal. Upon filing the appeal, the party had to give in the amount that they lost to file this appeal to the court. They never showed up for the appeal, and I automatically won. I tried several times to get the money from the court, but they will not release it. They give me different answers and the last thing they told me was that I had to file a 'Motion to Release Monies'? How do I go about this? Any answers are greatly appreciated.
