ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The Defendant is a disabled American Combat Veteran.
The Defendant runs this small business primarily as a therapy for his condition.
The small income it generates helps to defray the expense of operating a business of this nature.
The Defendant does not have the financial means to hire a professional.

The Plaintiff is aware of these facts, and most-likely has taken this avenue in an attempt to cheat the Defendant out of his just due.

The question is:
How could the Defendant stage a defense in absentia?
