What is the name of your state? Florida

Someone owes me about $300. I have no receipts "proving" this, but kept a log of what I lent him, and have a email from him saying he owes me "about $200."

My question is: If I bring him to small claims court with so little evidence, do I have a small chance of winning?

Without seeing all the evidence and knowing all the facts, it's impossible to even make an educated guess about your chances.

You definitely could win based on your evidence. Heck, you could win based on nothing but your own testimony. It really just comes down to what/who the fact finder (judge in small claims court) believes.
