What is the name of your state?Virginia I recently took out a pay loan on 10/04 for $230(due to car being stolen) , and when it came time to repay the loan my wages were getting garnished from another debt. The pay day loan company had kept constantly calling my sick grandmother and telling her they were sending out a warrant as well as telling her about my debt. She asked them to stop calling because she is sick and they continued to call her when I don't live there.(Filed a complaint with the FTC).I sent them a certified letter and a money order regarding payment arrangements and when we went to court on 12/21/04 she continued it till 12/29/04 and stated to me that they are mailing the money order back cause they can't accept it, and to come back into their office and pay the loan off and reapply(which I'm still gonna be $30 short). I just want to make payment arrangements and she is threating to garnish me when I'm trying to pay this debt off. What do I do?

Simple response.... pay them.
You knew of the garnishment at the time you decided to get their money. You can't now use it as an excuse.

You 'benefited' from their money.... and it is now time for you to accept your responsibility and pay them. They have NO obligation to accept less than the full amount owed. Pretty simple, huh??

I Am Making Pay Arrangements With Them By Sending Money Orders And They Keep Mailing Them Back
That is because they are NOT accepting your partial payments. Send them a FULL payment.... they won't return that!!
Oh, and do NOT type with all of your first letters capitalized!!
