What is the name of your state?COLORADO

i had a judgement in small claims court against me yesterday because I was given $1200 when my dad passed away from my landlord as a gift. He took me to court saying it was a "loan". he brought a copy of the check and it said "personal loan" in the comments. I just ordered a copy of the check from my bank and it didnt say that, so he wrote it in afterwords. what should I do>??

also, could I maybe get the other charges thrown out if he tampered with the evidence and lied in court? they awarded him a total of $2400.
