A friend of mine asked me to store his stuff for a while and left for Far East.
Since then I have been paying storage fees.

Now he can't send me a check and I'm stuck with his stuff and storage bills.

I'd like to discard/destroy his stuff so I don't have to pay fees any longer.

What is the best way to get out from this mess?

They are under my name, but items belong to him.
He was supposed to send me a check as soon as he got there.
He is not in the military.
