Broward County, Florida.

The Defendant's Attorney in a small claims court hearing, filed a motion for continuance and a motion to appear by telephone.

As the Plantiff, what rights do I have in regards to the appearance by telephone matter?
Can I refuse this or is there a motion I can file to force the Defendant's counsel to show up in person?

Any guidance is and will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

James

Have you tried to look up any of this in your local law library or the Codes of Civil Procedure for your state ?? A "motion to compel" MAY be what you need, but the applicability of that motion is something *I* can't answer.
