Property damage at bar

My husband is a musician and part of a 3 member band. This bar allows a patron to bring in his large dog. Shortly before starting a gig last night, another patron was playing fetch with this dog, tossing a small ball. The patron tossed the ball in the direction of the bands already set up instruments. The dog ran for the ball and knocked over my husbands keyboard and a few other items. The keyboard is now damaged. We would like to know who would be liable for damages. The patron who threw the ball, the the bar, or the dogs owner. Everyone seemed remorseful but nobody took responsibility.
