I may have to take someone to small claims court for a business transaction. I was advised to get a lien on their car if I win the judgment.
The car is financed by the other person and I'm concerned that if for some reason he did not pay up and I DID get possession of the car that I would also inherent the monthly payments for the remainder of the contract he has with the finance company.
Is this true? Because then it may not be worth it.
