What is the name of your state? CA

I was about to take a client to small claims court for $750, plus about $200 in interest payments. Two days before the court date I received a check for $750. I don't know what I should do now. Can I still go and ask for the remaining $200. If I drop the matter do I have to notify small claims court?

thanks in advance

If you are happy with the $750, just don't show up in court, the case will be dismissed. If you want the $200, show up and tell the judge you have received a partial payment and will be satisfied with a $200 judgment.
