Is this a broken verbal contract?

I was looking for an apartment and a co-worker said 'if you move into mine, I'll split the referral fee." Well she never did. Can I sue for that in small claims?

I live in Georgia.

THANKS

What do you have in writing? If the answer is nothing, it will be strictly your word against the other person's word. In almost all cases like this, the suit will be dismissed based on lack of evidence.

I do have witnesses that heard her say she would. Is that good enough? Or should I just leave well enough alone?
