What is the name of your state? Michigan

My wife won a small claims court decision about 9 years ago and never recieved any payment.
The guilty party did eventually file for bankruptcy. She was wondering if it is possible to renew the judgement
and get it posted on to his credit report. What is the best way to go about this? (She does not know if
she was listed as a creditor on the bankruptcy.)

If the debt was included in the bankruptcy, your wife can no longer make any attempts or provide negative information concerning the debt. The person sued no longer owes any money. Your wife could face the possibiltiy of some heavy fines is she continues attempts to collect on a dismissed debt. Tell her to burn the judgment and get on with her life, the debt is gone forever.
