Landlord sued me for damages after I had vacated the property 3 months. She was given proper notice and she still kept my deposit. Sued me for 5000.00 plus kept my 1500.00 deposit. Judge felt I had damaged the house because I have 5 boys, so I felt I did not get a fair chance. Judge also violated law: 21 days landlord has to return deposit and give an itemized statement. She did neither of these. I am in appeals court, she has a lawyer I have solid evidence proving that she gave me a notice to move without any cause meaning I did nothing to cause the notice. All of a sudden she sues me. She even sent me a letter 3 months before I moved out stating how well I took care of the property and thanking me for doing such a good job. how can I prove my case that this lawsuit is bogus. She does have a lawyer.

Pose a question hon, and tell us what forum you are being sued in... it cannot be small claims, lawyers are not allowed.

Thanks for being brief. but a few more details, succinct and with paragraphs if neccesary may bring answers, Okay?
We need a direct question to answer. :)
