Im helping someone research for an appeals brief. Am I restricted to researching ny cases only? (The appeal will be filed in NYC)

If you are not an attorney, then I would suggest you stop holding yourself out to be one.

Just For FYI , one visits the Appealate Court Law Library in the State of suit , but really , this is a small claims issue .

Either one has a good case , a questionable case , or one does not.

Is this a homework question ?
