What is the name of your state? Florida

If appeal a libel decision in Circuit court,

can I sue for punitive damages, as well as actual, since I am out of Small Claims court?

My definition of punitive damages, to punish and prevent this large company from doing what they did to me to someone else.

Sorry for the split thread but I think this last question got lost in the first theme of the first thread

thanks for any responses

Per Florida rules ---

I would have to go back through all my notes but I'm almost positive that the following statement is a Florida SCC rule of the court:

In a nonjury action, the court can modify its findings of fact as well as its conclusions of law

It appears that I can appeal on either law or "findings of fact".
