What is the name of your state? TX

If the plaintiff wishes to appeal the judgment in a small claims court is it correct that:

1. you have 5 days after the judgment is rendered to request a new trial in the same court? (Very important - does this mean 5 actual days or 5 business days in which the office of the court is open?)

Do you have to request a new trial before you can appeal?

2. If you want to appeal, does the plaintiff have 10 days after the judgment to file the appeal?

3. If the plaintiff can not afford the cost of the appeal they may file some form showing inability to pay the cost?

4. What is a Writ of Certiorari and when would that be necessary to use?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
