What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

Hello all,

I am new to the forum as a poster but a long time reader. So on to my question, my girlfriend had bought a car a few years ago. Well her credit wasn't good enough to do it on her own so she needed her boyfriend at the time to co-sign (I know bad idea). Now he is suing her for the car, but he is NOT on the title or the original bill of sale. The only names on the title are hers and the banks. He has not made a single payment on this loan at all... so how does he have any legal right to this vehicle?

Thanks in advance

Now, the ex is on the hook for the entire balance due on the car. Why shouldn't he sue for it?
