What is the name of your state?
Indiana
I am suing an ex-friend who has made charges on my credit cards and wrote checks on my checking account in 2001. What type of claim should I file to be within the statue of limitations?

In small claims court, you only have to provide the details of the 'damages' you are claiming. You do not have to name a particular 'cause'.
