Texas: I am the plantiff in a Small Claims case. I just got a letter from the defendent's lawyer. It is a "Defendant's request for Disclosure" asking for all my witnesses, evidence etc. Can I request the same of her? If so, is there a "form letter" I can use?
Thanks!

"Can I request the same of her?"
*** Yes.

"If so, is there a "form letter" I can use?"
*** No. Texas courts don't have 'standardized' forms to use. Simply reverse the roles (and modify if needed) and return to her (or her attorney, if she has one).

"Thanks!"
*** You're welcome.

If the case is important enough for the defendant to retain an attorney then you might want to consider doing the same.

If not then you really need to do your homework and have your case prepared. If you have never been to court I suggest spending some time there before your trial date. Call the clerk of court and find out when some other trials are scheduled.
