What is the name of your state? Illinois. Please advise on the
Stat. of limitations in small claims for the state of Illinois. My bank
co-sign is 3 years old. Thanks, no one in the state is aware of this law.

*** That is probably because your question is missing a lot of FACTS.

I assume though that this issue has to do with recovery of a debt (from the co-sign). If correct, the Illinois SOL (Statute of Limitations) is:
Sales (UCC): 4 years
Open Acct.: 5 years
Written Contract: 10 years

thank u JETX. message.

You did what a courthouse in Illi. could not do. U did what
the state office att. gen. for s. claims could not do. U did
what the Illi. small claims booklet could not do. No wonder that state is in dire straights. I drove 5 hours 1 way and filed for 4,000.
Sweet justice will be mine against the lil female grifter. thanks.
