What is the name of your state? NC

When does the statue of limitations on a small claims debt expire in Nebraska?
My husbands ex took us to court a few yrs ago for $1400, saying we owed for Health Insurance, and my husband wouldn't dispute it and she was awarded the claim.
We only made one payment at the beginning. My husband would be willing to pay it if it would go to the kids now 25 and 21. We feel she was being vindictive, since he no longer had to pay child support. What is the name of your state?

The SOL on a Nebraska judgment is 5 years, but the judgment is renewable.

If it matters, if she domesticates in NC, your SOL is 10 years and it's not renewable.
