I live in Los Angeles and have been living in my apartment for a month, SoCalGas turned off my service because I refused to pay the previous tenants bill. Today I was forced to pay $223 to get my service turned back on. I am hoping to recover the amount in small claims however they won't provide me with any bills. The only evidence I have is the receipt for $223 without my account or name on it. Has anyone dealt with this in the past?
