My ex-friend had asked me to watch her cat, as she could not take care of it. She was supposed to pay me for the food and litter. Well, to make a long story short, she owes me a lot of money and I have had this cat for over a year, with no support or interest on her part. I even had the cat neutered, and she did not pay for that. Now, being that we are fighting over the money that she owes me, she wants the cat back. I dont want to give him to her. He knows only me now, and I would be heart broken if he left. She is only doing this out of spite. What are my rights?
