this is in california.

this has turned into a power deal. my ex-girlfriend who was (although claims she no longer is) a stripper and a high paid escort threatening to sue me for $1000. I make good money, but bills are tied up in it, and still recovering from a $1000 childsupport order that stopped about six months ago. I started paying her $25 a month (started this year) and said I would continue to pay 25 a month until the sum is completed. and it would be automated through wellsfargo bill pay.

I also had made a money order through wellsfargo that I shouls have records with but she wanted cash, and since it was a money order she said i could redeposit it.

my question is, with my fairly good salary and the bills i have to pay, and the fact that i have a paper trail of attempting to pay her and also now evidence that I am paying her, although at a very small amount, does she have a leg to stand on with this? I am continuing with the money, but i would rather not have the whole sum taken from me.

and advice to anyone, never borrow money from anyone, especially an angry stripper. :)

thank you!
