What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania. i was told that i probably wouldnt be able to sue my ex fiancee for bills that we accumulated together becuase everything was in my name only. the bills range from..a cell phone he had that he ran up a $400.00 bill, a loan in which i co-signed in order for him to establish credit, rent, security deposit, car insurance and basic utilities. we have been together for 5.5 years and lived together the entire time up until 2 months ago. do i have grounds to sue him or should i not waste my time?

Under what agreement between the two of you do you believe he owes you money? Do you have anything in writing in which he promises to pay you money?
