What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

CA

Hey all - I received a summons - being sued - on Feb 27th, 2011. I was left on my doorstep, so i was 'not' served - it was left. Anyway, the summons says it was filed by the Attorney 01/31/2011 and signed off by the Court Clerk 02/16/2011.

The summons suggests that I have 30 days in which to write a response; how do I prove that my 30 days begins on 02/27/2011?

Thanks!

well, if you want to claim you weren't served, does it really matter?
