What is the name of your state?PA

Does anyone know what the length of time that a Creditor has after a Debtor has defaulted on a credit card to file a lawsuit? Is there a statute of limitaions for this in PA?

In my case, the last time the card was used for a purchase was about 7-8 years ago, and the last time a payment was made was 4-5 years ago. Thanks.

The SOL in PA is 6 yrs for open accounts. That is from the last payment you made on the card, not the last time you made a purchase.

Just because it is an important issue. The time period begins the first day of DEFAULT from the last day you made a payment on that card. Sometimes that makes a huge difference.
