Unpaid cancelation fee

I live in deleware and I just recently switched from sprint to Verizon. ....our initial agreement was they would payoff my old contact and we trade in our phones up to 650.00 per line. ....we traded in our phones and got next to nothing for them and now they are saying they will not pay off the contact cause two of the phones had cracked Steve l screens.....can I take them to court over this
