I recently lost in small claims court, a judgment for 2000.00. The paperwork I received
stated that exempt was 75% of my wages unless the weekly take home pay is less than
30 times the federal minimum wage, as my take home pay for 2 weeks 298.00. The federal minimum is 5.85, times 30 is 175.50. I am a bartender, are my tips subject to
garnishment?
