I am a member of a women's pool team. At the end of last season I was the captain of the team. The team has since split into two teams. The balance in our team treasury was $377. I have already split that amount into two retaining half for my team and giving half to the captain of the other team. Their team has 3 of the original members and my team has 5 of the original members.
I have received a letter from the captain of the other team who is requesting payment of the other $188.50 by Nov 1 or she will take me to court for said amount and legal fees. Does she have a right to that money?
