Who should I sue?

I live in Texas and I am wondering who I need to sue. While I was out of town on business, my wife left her brother at our house with his girlfriend's kids while she ran an errand. His girlfriend's child struck my brand new LED tv with a curtain rod and destroyed my tv screen. The repairs will cost $1900 dollars. My wife has attempted to collect for over a month and they have not responded appropriately. Should I sue my wife's brother because he was there or should I sue the girlfriend since that was her kid? Should I sue both individually?
