Charging Rent to Son

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
My 18-yr-old son has autism and has just been medically approved for SSI. Once he is financially approved, I understand that I must start charging him rent or room and board in order for him to receive the full amount of SSI. How do I determine an amount to charge him? Should it be rent only, with food as a separate charge, or should I lump it all together as room and board? Will charging this affect my ability to claim him as a dependent on income taxes? Thank you for any advice anyone can give me.
