What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana
My daughter is 24 and has had mental health problems since she was 15,
she has never had a job her new Psychiatrist says she would support her
trying to get SSI my question is since she lives with me, is her eligibility
based on my income even though she is an adult.

If she is approved medically, and you plan on having her still live with you , you may have to tell SSA that you will allow your Adult Daughter to rent from you.

Then it all boils down to a reduction for living with someone else, weather or not you are going to provide help to her still, etc.

See living arrangments.

The value of the free rent you provide is income whether or not you are related to her. The only other money that matters is what you give her.
