disabled commited ssi fraud

What is the name of your state? The name of my state is Georgia

I am unable to work due to social anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder I am in my mid 20s. I had applied for ssi and was turned down. When I applied for the third time I was desperate and I faked the I.Q. part of the test. Although I faked the I.Q. part of the test I still was turned down for ssi benefits. But in my records are two different I.Q. scores the real I.Q. score from in the beginning that I didn't fake and the most recent one that I did fake. I know that faking the intelligence test was wrong but I felt Like I had no choice they kept turning me down and saying that I can work when I cannot. I live with my family and they pay all the bills. I buy what I need from my savings but by this time next year my savings will be gone. My questions are Is there any way that I can get ssi to disregard indescrepencies in my most recent paper work and let me start over? Or should I just stop applying for ssi because my fraud will soon be found out? What should I do I need money to be able to support myself? Would I be able to start over and not fake the I.Q. tests without getting into trouble?

If you can put that much effort into applying for ssi and attempting to defraud the government, then you certainly have the skills required to get a job. Based on the government's denial of your claims, it would seem that they agree with my assessment.

Who says you can't work ?

Mental Health ? Dr's . ? who ?

If you have Dr's. to support your claim , consult an SSI attorney .

You really didn't commit fraud , you just tried to lie , and their test caught it . Some intelligent minds can't function , and are on disability .

Intelligence is just one factor in an assessment .

Do you work for the SSA or something? Besides that, I don't think your "assessment" is accurate if solely based on the brief statements that the poster made.

It is not Fraud , it's a darn test .

Gee throw 1/2 the school students in the can for fraud for cheating .

Does the IRS throw all the cheaters in Jail for Fraud ?

Even welfare if it catches Fraud , " usually " only cuts the benefits , precludes further benefits , and maybe restitution is in order .

No one is going to Jail over this .

No I do not work for SSI , but I do have a PHD in common sense .

To answer the Poster's question , You can reapply all you want on denials .

Have you ever tried to work through the Process , reconsiderations ? , Appeals ?, Consulting an SSI Attorney .

Generalized anxiety disorders can be treated .

Everyone is different, of course, but if you have GAD and social anxiety there are a million jobs you can do that won't have you dealing with the public or many people at all. You've been turned down for SSI because they agree with that.

Anxiety sucks, but it can be managed with therapy and medication (as I well know) OR you can choose to waste the best years of your life making excuses. Which will it be?

A misunderstanding, I think

Hi -- my posted reply yesterday was directed at the comments made by "Some Random Guy," not the person who replied to it. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm new to this forum and to forums in general.

my son has social anxiety and general anxiety disorder.... although yes there are lots of jobs someone with these disorders can do, you still have to deal with people during the hiring process... which makes it very difficult and sometimes impossible to get a job of any kind. my son was also turned down, but my husband (with the same disorders was approved after 3 years of appeals..... dont give up.
