. I have been denied my SSD 2 times now. I have PTSD, combined anxiety disorder, ADD, ADHD, depressive disorder, depression, OCD, fibromyalgia, sleep apnea, mirgraines, and a cognitive retension disability and dyslexia. I have been being treated for these since at least 2009 except the learning disabilities. Also 2 of my 3 children have ADD combined ADHD, ODD, RAD, and depression so I missed to much school with their medical issues of attempted suicide and my own medical issues, I got put out of school because of my attendance. My psychiatrist has told me to keep applying because I am unemployable and have not held a job since 2007 after my rape trial. I keep being denied and also have my daughters for SSD. I'm just feeling worthless and drowning financially, as a woman and mother. Ok rants over now. Thankx for respond with any helpful info.

Have you tried contacting an attorney? They will work on contingency, and help you go through the appeals process if necessary.

yes I had a attorney the first go round,.
There's no reason you couldn't involve an attorney this time around, but it might be that you don't actually have enough medical documentation to prove your disability. Did your original attorney explain what happened when you were first denied?

Are you getting any financial help for your children?

Rhonda..have you gone for neuropyshcology testing? I think this type of testing is going to help my case.
I have been denied once as well.

But, I went for testing...I had a Brain MRI...I thought I had MS because of some of my symptoms....so I started with a Neurologist...then when my MRI came back as NOT MS...but "abnormal"....she asked what bothered me most...I said my memory...she then sent me to the local hospital to have the "memory" tests.

The memory tests showed I am highly distractable..and need breaks every 30 minutes....and that I can not focus doing tasks...

All Specialists appointments I was told by my lawyer are important.

For the Fibro..have you been to a Rheumatologist to rule out other conditions?

What DO you have? Have you been in counseling and taking medication consistently?
