I'm on SSDI and my son receives his own benefits off my work record. I've heard that he should be getting 50% of what I get, yet he gets around 25%. Is he entitled to more? If so, how can we fix this?

In some cases, with younger disabled recipients or those with just barely enough credits to be insured, the disability family maximum can equal the amount paid to the worker. The amount due the children ranges between 0% and 50%.
